Friday 30 October: Shotover Jet pickups only

Edith Cavell Bridge is closed for council maintenance, so there's no shuttle from town on this day. Please select "Shotover Jet, 3 Arthur's Point Rd [Free Parking]" as your pickup and allow extra travel time if you're driving from town.

Park for free at the River Base, and we will pick you up from there.

Before you book

  • Age: Minimum 10 years. Ages 10–13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Ages 14–15 need a parent or guardian to sign the check-in form.
  • Weight: Maximum 210kg for solo, or 210kg combined for tandem. There’s no minimum weight. All participants must fit the safety harness.
  • Pregnancy: For safety reasons, participants who are pregnant can't swing.
  • Spectators: Van seats are limited, so spectators must be booked in advance. Children under 5 are free. Add a note so we can save them a seat.
  • Second swings: Available on-site only, depending on time. They can't be pre-purchased and aren't guaranteed.

Payments & cancellations

  • A 1.85% surcharge applies to credit card and contactless payments.
  • 24-hour cancellation policy: cancel or amend at least 24 hours before your trip time for a full refund.
